A children’s healthcare charity needed a better experience for their guests and volunteers at thousands of fundraising events nationwide each year. They wanted an app for phones and kiosks to let guests check in, bid on auction items, make donations, and pay for purchases. Volunteers needed to manage guests and auction activity without juggling paper.
Working onsite with an Agile team, I quickly iterated prototypes of the guest app and volunteer app, using feedback from each weekend’s fundraisers to refine requirements for the next sprint.
The result: more engagement from guests and volunteers, and a substantial lift in fundraising.
